This policy covers the MasterHerd mobile app
(com.masterherd.app) and the
www.masterherd.com marketing website. By using the
app or the site, you acknowledge this policy.

1. Marketing website
www.masterherd.com is for product information only. There is no
sign-in, farm dashboard, or business-data collection on the site. We
do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Hosting / CDN
providers (e.g. Cloudflare) may keep technical access logs (IP,
browser type, requested page). Language preference is stored only in
your browser (localStorage).
2. Mobile app — what we process
MasterHerd is built for daily farm and livestock records. Data is kept on your device first (offline use). When you sign in, authentication and multi-device sync use cloud infrastructure (Supabase).
We may process:
- Account: email and session; if you use Google or Apple sign-in, the name / email those providers share
- Business profile: business name, owner details, optional photo
- Staff: name, phone, email, roles / permissions, tasks, optional photo
- Animals and production: ear tags / IDs, species, photos, vaccines, weighing, milk, feed, births
- Fields and stock: parcel details, map points / boundaries, warehouse records
- Finance: income, expense, and report summaries
- Preferences: language, units, currency, notification categories
3. Device permissions
- Camera — ear-tag / barcode scanning; animal or staff photos
- Photos / media — choosing images from the gallery
- Location — weather; showing fields on a map
- Bluetooth — reading weight from a Bluetooth scale
- Internet — sync, weather, maps, address lookup
- Notifications — local reminders (vaccines, tasks, etc.)
You can revoke permissions in device settings; related features may stop working.
4. Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication and farm-data sync
- Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple — optional sign-in
- Open-Meteo — weather
- OpenStreetMap — map tiles
- Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) — address / location lookup
- Google Play and the App Store — install and updates; future subscription payments are processed by the stores, not stored as card details by us
We do not use ad networks, marketing pixels, or third-party analytics SDKs.
5. Purpose
Data is processed only to run the app, authenticate your account, sync records across devices, remember preferences, and answer support requests. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
6. Retention and security
A local copy stays on your device. When sync is on, a cloud copy is tied to your account. Use a strong password and sign out on shared devices. Uninstalling removes on-device app data under normal OS rules. To delete the cloud account and records, email us.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. In the app you can edit or delete records and change your password. Write to destek@masterherd.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If that happens, contact support and we will delete the record.
9. Updates
We may update this policy and refresh the date for material changes. The current version is on this page and on the in-app Privacy screen.
